From Sicily to Pompeii & The Bay of Naples.

There are very few parts of the world which have seen more history than Sicily and Southern Italy. Colonised by a number of different peoples over millenia, this part of the world has staggering examples of monuments from many of the most important cultures. We explore the Greek temples of Agrigento, Selinus and Paestum, and immerse ourselves in the Roman world at the unique sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, preciously preserved by Vesuvius. As if that weren’t enough, you will be able to see some of the world’s most famous mosaics, from the Roman mosaics in the Naples Museum to those in the wondrous late-Antique villa at Piazza Armerina, and the shimmering Byzantine mosaics in the unique Arabo-Norman churches and cathedrals in and around Palermo. This is a journey of a lifetime for those who have always wanted to travel in the footsteps of the Grand Tourist and those who would like to return.
